Luxian Royal Crest
Luxia runs on a constitutional monarchy system. The head of the country falls solely to the Royal Household, who have the power to make the ultimate decisions in regards to any laws and other such legislature. However, before making such decisions, the King or Queen must first consult the Company of Representatives, a body of individuals who represent each province within Luxia. Members of the Company of Representatives are elected every four years, during an election period. Both the Royal Household and individuals in the Company of Representatives have the power to introduce new laws and legislature, to which it must then be approved by the Royal Household and/or members of the Company of Representatives, this process known as the Approval Period.
In accordance with the Royal Household having its own personal body of advisers and retainers, members of the Company of Representatives are also allowed to choose their own personal advisers. While any number of advisers are allowed, each member must have at least one adviser for matters concerning the military, education, health and welfare, and economics.
On the provincial level, both governors and their advisers are elected during their own election period which takes place two years after the election period for the Company of Representatives.
